We are looking for a talent scout, and if you are a superior judge of character and abilities and enjoy interacting with people and learning what makes them tick, you may be a good fit. You must be able to travel for work and keep a regular schedule of appearances and interviews. You should also possess great communication skills and keep organized and copious notes. Prior experience is a plus but not necessary for consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Contacting and interviewing potential talent
- Creating communications between potential talent and the talent agency, managers, and other talent scouts.
- Increasing awareness of the company’s track record of talent representation.
- Regularly reporting findings to HR department.
- Traveling to locations of potential talent and reporting results to HR.
- Reviewing talent demo tapes and making recommendations for improvement or employment.
- Managing contract negotiations and industry-specific terms of employment.
- Representing the best interests of the company.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and influence talent’s contractual decisions.
- Exceptional skills using technology and social media platforms to discover unknown talent and promote growth in the company.
- Professional demeanour and appearance.
- Ability to travel.
