Malaysia launches LUSH’s first-ever CORAL SOAP

Lush Malaysia has officially launched its Coral Soap, a purpose-led product created to support marine conservation efforts in Malaysia. This first-of-its-kind soap makes its debut exclusively in Malaysia, available only for a limited four-month selling period.

As part of this initiative, 75% of the sales price (minus tax) from every Coral Soap sold will be donated to Reef Check Malaysia, a leading marine conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring Malaysia’s coral reef ecosystems. The Coral Soap is now officially in-stores and online for the public to purchase and support a meaningful cause.

Reef Check Malaysia’s mission is to empower local communities to play an active role in preserving natural marine resources and ensuring healthy reef ecosystems for future generations.

Funds raised through the Coral Soap sales will support Reef Check Malaysia’s ongoing conservation work on Tioman Island. This includes:

1. Rehabilitating damaged coral reefs through coral propagation and replanting efforts.
2. Addressing local environmental threats through community-led conservation initiatives such as ghost net removal, beach clean-ups, and the installation of mooring lines to prevent anchor damage.
3. Delivering environmental education programmes in three primary schools and one secondary school on the island to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards.

Through the Coral Soap launch, Lush Malaysia continues to connect ethical product innovation with tangible environmental impact, demonstrating how everyday purchases can contribute to protecting Malaysia’s marine ecosystems.
