This pretty kitty design was created by Kelly Ware from This New Ground. TNG brings creativity, culture, and community to life, led by artists with learning disabilities in Portsmouth and Hammersmith, and Fulham. TNG Studio opened in 2024 as a dynamic and inclusive space where artists can develop their talents, experiment with new mediums, and take on commissions and social enterprise projects. TNG believes in the power of creativity to inspire and connect, offering a supportive environment for artists to grow personally and professionally while engaging with the wider community through art.
When designing this card, Kelly was inspired by her beloved cat, “My design is a lino print of Andre the cat. Andre is like an emotional support cat for me. He's just perfect.” Oh Andre, you truly are so purrr-fect!
Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
We partner with an Italian mill that has 125 years' experience of making quality papers to make this 100% recycled card, using 50% post-consumer waste and 50% pre-consumer/post-industrial waste. These are then printed in Oxfordshire. Rather than using a single-use plastic envelope, a Kard Klasp is used to hold the envelope closed and has the added benefit of speeding up production!
