Hi Lush Malaysia team! My name is Dina and I am currently looking for any career opportunity that may be available at Lush HQ (Malaysia based, or remotely if international-based). Aside looking for a job, I am initially here to inquire regarding another few things, which I believe the questions to be considered as good pitch-points. Namely, 1. Does LUSH have any shower steamer? - Kindly asking this from the perspective of a person who doesn’t have bathtubs at home, and yes, I believe bathtubs in Malaysia is not a thing that people would indulge into unless they went for a bougie vacation or have a self-care day. - Although, I do know that DIY options are doable whereby I can cut up some bath-bombs and hang them inside a mesh soap bag, but choosing one that have the right essential oils to be the desired aromatherapeutic shower is another mental labor to be dealt with. Mind you, I am a person with PDD(dysthymia) and OCD diagnosis so executive dysfunction is a given, for the “neurospicy” brains like me. - I still have more points but I am afraid a very long paragraphs can be scary to some email readers. 2. Who do I refer to if I would like to collaborate for a workshops with LUSH.? - It’s mostly for community events but in any case I found a suitable opportunity I might want to reach out to LUSH as well. 3. May I know the active social media accounts for LUSH MALAYSIA? - I can offer myself to be the social media content analyst and strategist, as I dig into doing market research recreationally. - However, I would say, video editing and designing is not my thing anymore after I found myself in a spiral of “copy of copy of copy” of a design (that’s the executive dysfunction and overstimulation doing it’s job). Needless to say the booming of Content Creators, Video Editors, Social Media Manager and any other relevant position that people pit in under the “Marketing Executive” role of umbrella that can hurt a worker but with an unempowered potential, I would say, it could actually be a great move for LUSH to have an inclusive hiring strategy. To end my message, I would like to express my love towards LUSH, for being the muse (case study) of my marketing assignment back in 2021. That discovery was everything to that girl who really wanted to be the environmentalist advocate. As I grew (wisdom-wise) fee years later, my love for LUSH never dimmed. I loved the products, I love the positioning, and I just wish to move one step closer towards LUSH now that I learned how to “network”. The skills came in handy, indeed.
